Why does boot media creation fail when creating RAM filesystem?

When I try to create system installation boot media, I get the following error:

Error: Cannot create RAM filesystem on /storix/temp/[number]loop.

ANSWER

Storix is unable to create the ext2 filesystem on a ramdisk that is used for the installation boot media because of Security Enhanced Linux (SELINUX) is enabled. You can either disable SELINUX (which requires a reboot), or turn off enforcement.

Please refer to your system’s documentation for disabling and/or changing enforcement of SELINUX.
