Many backup products are designed to run on many different operating systems and platforms. Storix, instead, provides the most complete and flexible backup management and disaster recovery product for the systems we know best - Linux and AIX.
Why? Because other products provide generic data backups but typically ignore the critical backups needed to restore an entire system. Even those that provide a bare-metal backup usually provide a disk-image backup, which is ignorant of the operating system or hardware it is running on - and therefore cannot be changed or restored to different hardware.
