How do I create and use an "include" list for a backup?

How do I create and use an "include" list for a backup?

I have one server where I want to back up only a specific list of 10-15 subdirectories. I realize I'll have to do a directory backup, but what is the syntax to point to an external file which contains the list of directories?

ANSWER

Create a text file that contains a list of the diretories and/or files you wish to include. The list should contain only a single directory or file per line.

For example:
/home
/etc/hosts

The above will backup all contents of /home directory and only the /etc/hosts file.

The include list may only be used with the "Directories" type backup profile. When configuring the backup job, add the "@" symbol to the full path to the include list filename when specifying the data to include in the backup.

For example:
@/storix/temp/filelist
