Why did I get "sttsm: dsmSetUp - rc = 610, Unable to open message text file" error message?
I received an error encountered when trying to select remote TSM Backup. Error message is "sttsm: dsmSetUp - rc = 610, Unable to open message text file"
This is most likely the result of an SBAdmin client (using the TSM API) being added while using version 5.x of the API. Then later the API is updated to version 6.x. When a client is added within the GUI or Web Interface, links are created for the correct version of the API. If the API is updated, the links are no longer valid. The solution is to re-save the client from within the GUI or Web Interface to re-create the links.
